BARNSLEY Football Club are delighted to launch the first batch of our very special auctions, raising money for Help For Heroes.

The Club have today put eight of the match shirts worn at the Reds' 'Help For Heroes Day' Barnsley v Crystal Palace Coca Cola Championship match at Oakwell Stadium on Saturday March 13 2010 up for auction. The shirts feature a one-off 'Help For Heroes' motif on the front, player name and number printed onto the back together with Coca Cola Football League badges on both sleeves and have been signed by the relevant player. All have a reserve price of just £25 and will come complete with a certificate of authenticity from Oakwell. All auctions will run until Friday April 2, 2010.

All profits from these auctions will be donated to the 'Help For Heroes' charity, which is the official charity of The Football League for the 2009/10 season. More information on the Help For Heroes charity is available at www.helpforheroes.org.uk.
