REDS boss Mark Robins gave his thoughts ahead of the clash with Crystal Palace.
Mark told Barnsley Player: "Obviously the goalkeeping situation has been our big issue this week. I had a conversation with the referee last Sunday and it was apparent that we did not have enough evidence or the backing of the official to warrant an appeal. Other camera angles just were not available to us and we are very, very disappointed about that. We will have to take our punishment on the chin.
"Obviously we are disappointed to lose Luke (Steele) but we have a more than able deputy in David Preece and he will have his opportunity this weekend.
"It has been impossible to find another goalkeeper to bring in so far even to sit on the bench for one game and no one has been prepared to help us out. We could have to go without a sub keeper but we have until Saturday morning to get someone. We are fighting it out with Derby County as well now after last night.
"Rob Kozluk is still a little way off coming back from his knee injury.
"We can feel hard done by but you need to see games like that out. We could not do that last weekend and we have to draw a line under it and move on.
"We have put all contract discussions on hold now until an appropriate time when we will know where we are and what we can do. We can only concentrate on the games now and focus on getting more points on the board and playing some decent football.
"Crystal Palace have had a strange season and you have to feel for them. They have had to contend with a ten point deduction; losing their best player in Victor Moses and the departure of their talismanic manager Neil Warnock. They have brought in one of my predecessors in Paul Hart and what could have been a promising season for them has turned into a battle against relegation.
"They have beaten Sheffield United and lost to Bristol City in the last week. We drew with them at their place in December but a lot has changed for them since then.
"It is business as usual for us and we have to knuckle down and concentrate on our football. This is all about Barnsley and what we do. We have to impose ourselves on the game. We will have to be ready for is and they will be fighting for their lives".
