FIVE players have been nominated for the E.ON 'Player of the Round' award following their performance in The FA Cup Third Round Proper.
A five-strong panel, which includes FA Cup hero, Ricky George, will nominate their candidates after each round (up to and including the Semi-Final) and you can vote for your favourite on TheFA.com.
The selections for the Third Round Proper are as follows:
Howard Wheatcroft has gone for Leeds United's Jermaine Beckford. Beckford's well-taken goal set up one of biggest shocks in recent seasons as Leeds dumped Manchester United out of the competition at Old Trafford.
Ricky George went for Peterborough 'keeper, Joe Lewis, for his incredible performance against Spurs. The shot-stopper was singled out by both managers after the game as he kept Posh in the game until they were eventually overrun in the second half.
Mark Clemmit nominated Jon Parkin after the forward bagged a hat-trick, including a sublime chip from the edge of the area, in managerless Preston's 7-0 win over Colchester United.
Andy Townsend nominated Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey after the youngster turned the tie at Upton Park on its head with a neat finish to a flowing move, capping an impressive all round performance.
Graham Bartlett has nominated Daniel Sturridge who struck twice in the holders 5-0 win against Watford in only his third full start for the club. It was an ideal time to stake a claim for a place in Carlo Ancelotti's side with the African Cup of Nations on the horizon.
You have until midday on Tuesday 12 January to vote for your favourite and the winner will receive a commemorative trophy and two VIP tickets to The FA Cup sponsored by E.ON Final on 15 May 2010.
