WE ARE NOT GOING TO STAND FOR A PERFORMANCE LIKE THAT - STEELE

Posted on: Fri 11 Dec 2009

REDS keeper Luke Steele has backed his teammates to bounce back strongly from Wednesday night's disappointments at Oakwell.

Luke told Barnsley Player: "Newcastle will be confident and they have done fantastically well in the last few months. It is going well for them and they are now where people expected them to be.

"We know that we played badly on Wednesday night but the players here are not going to stand for that and are determined to come back with a response tomorrow.

"We are on a good run ourselves and even though we played badly on Wednesday we still managed to get a point from the game. We are full of confidence and it should be a great game".
