IT'S ADVANTAGE NEW ZEALAND

Posted on: Tue 13 Oct 2009

A GOALLESS draw with Bahrain means it's advantage New Zealand as the World Cup hopes of three ex-Reds were given a massive boost last weekend.

Leo Bertos and Rory Fallon played in the game in Bahrain for the All Whites while David Mulligan was an unused substitute on the night.

The play off first leg draw means New Zealand have the upper hand going into November's decider in Wellington.
