POST MATCH REACTION FROM THE KEEPMOAT STADIUM

Posted on: Mon 19 Oct 2009

BARNSLEY manager Mark Robins gave his thoughts following today's smash and grab raid at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Mark said: "I am delighted to get the three points. I do not think we have played particularly well today so it was good to get all three points. It was a good finish for the goal but we had some chances earlier in the game that would have made it more comfortable for us.

"I think we settled down after the goal but there was some anxiety in our play before that. Doncaster are a good footballing side but they mixed it up more today and that was surprising.

"I am very pleased with my lads today. It was a very tough game and a typical local derby although we did not keep the ball as well as we have done.

"I thought our support was absolutely fantastic today".
