BARNSLEY BOYS BID TO SEND NEW ZEALAND TO THE WORLD CUP

NEW Zealand will bank on a host of former Barnsley youngsters as they bid to make the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.

The All Whites face Bahrain in a two leg play off with the first match in Manama on October 10. The winners will make it through to South Africa.

Rory Fallon, David Mulligan and Leo Bertos have all been named in Ricki Herbert's 19-man squad for the tie. All three came up through the youth set up at Oakwell.
