BARNSLEY Football Club have today completed the signing of Polish U21 goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski from Southampton on a short-term seven day emergency loan.

With David Preece forced onto the sidelines with an ankle problem and Luke Steele still out because of a broken finger, Reds boss Mark Robins has moved quickly to secure the services of the 6'4" shot stopper. Bartosz started off his career with Gornik in Poland and enjoyed a spell on trial at Hearts before joining Southampton in 2005.
