FILEKOVIC SIGNS ON AT OAKWELL

BARNSLEY Football Club have tonight completed the signing of Slovenian international defender Suad Filekovic.

The 31-year-old has joined the Reds on a free transfer and the deal is subject to registration with the football authorities and international clearance. Suad has signed a contract keeping his at Oakwell until January.

An experienced campaigner with 14 international caps, Suad has enjoyed spells with NK Olimpija Ljubljana and NK Maribor in Slovenia, NK Hajduk Split, Ergotelis FC in Greece, R.E. Mouscron in Belgium and FC Krylia Sovetov Samara in Russia.
