BARNSLEY ARE BEATABLE - LINCOLN CITY

LINCOLN City chief executive Dave Roberts is expecting a great night at Sincil Bank when the Reds visit in the first round of the Carling Cup in early August.

Roberts told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "They're beatable.

"They only just escaped relegation and they'll have players away on international duty.

"I think we're due a good cup run, we haven't had one for a couple of seasons so hopefully this will be our year.

"On the commercial side I think Barnsley are fairly local, a good side with a decent fanbase and I think it will be a good night here."
