WINGER Martin Devaney believes his side have to step up and deliver in the closing weeks of the season.

Martin told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "It was very disappointing on Monday and we need to start getting results at the moment. We thought it was a game we could go out and win but losing it has put is right in the middle of the dog fight again.

"We can take heart from our displays in the FA Cup last season even though there has been a few changes to the team since then. We have some new players in and it is time for everybody to step up to the plate and deliver.

"It is frustrating for everybody but we have to put everything to one side and concentrate on getting the points we need from these remaining matches. Everybody has to pull in the right direction and get right behind the manager, team and club".
