BARNSLEY Football Club can confirm that striker Miguel Mostto has left Oakwell after the Reds agreed an undisclosed fee with Peruvian side Total Clean Fútbol Club.

Signed in the summer of 2007 from Peruvian side Cienciano, Miguel has struggled to settle in England especially with his family being thousands of miles away. Miguel was hit hard in the summer after his son fell seriously ill and the Club have granted him a move back to Peru to be nearer his family.

Reds manager Simon Davey told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "We are disappointed to see Miguel leave the Club but sometimes you have to do things which are in the best interests of the player and he needs to be back with his family".

Barnsley Football Club would like to thank Miguel for his services and wish him every success in the future.
