BARNSLEY midfielder Anderson de Silva is out for three matches following his red card against Sheffield United.

Anderson was sent off in the first half of Saturday's local derby after reacting to a punch thrown by United's Ugo Ehiogu. Both players were dismissed in what was a controversial South Yorkshire clash.

Anderson will miss the games against Watford, Preston and Burnley.
