PORT Vale have appointed Dean Glover as their new manager, he takes over the full time role after a period in charge of team affairs alongside Andy Porter.

The former Valiants' player made over 350 appearances for the club and has been given the opportunity to put together his own backroom team. Vale are currently 19th in Coca-Cola League Two.
