DANNY Graham will have to turn his hand to DIY after scooping the League One Powerade Player of the Month award for August.
Carlisle United striker Graham paid tribute to his Brunton Park team-mates for helping him land the award after a five-goal August that included a first-ever hat-trick.
Graham is delighted at the prospect of proudly showing off his latest accolade in addition to the match ball he earned following his stunning treble in the 4-1 victory over Yeovil Town.
But there's only one problem - the Middlesbrough youth product admits he has nowhere at his home on Tyneside to display his growing haul of silverware.
Graham said: "I've not really got a trophy cabinet to speak of, so I guess I'll have to maybe see if I've got any DIY skills to knock one together. It would be nice to have this sort of stuff on display."
He failed to hit the net in his opening two matches of the campaign before his 23rd birthday in mid-August.
But since then he has not looked back to take his career strike ratio to an impressive goal every two-and-a-half games to keep the Cumbrians right up with the early pacesetters.
He added: "Maybe it's because I've got another year's experience under my belt! Ever since my birthday things have been going brilliantly for me.
"I have to give the rest of the lads a lot of credit because it's a team game and without them providing me with the chances they do life would be hard.
"I'd spoken with the other strikers about having a few daft side bets as to who would be top scorer this season. But now I've got off to such a decent start they don't want to know."
