REDS manager Simon Davey is delighted to finally be able to call on Argentinean midfielder Hugo Colace.

One of the longest running transfer sagas of the summer finally came to a head last week when Hugo was eventually given clearance to play by FIFA following delays in Argentina. Hugo signed for the Reds in June but was unable to pull on a Barnsley shirt until international clearance was given.

Simon told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "I am very pleased although this whole thing has taken far too long but at last Hugo is available for us. He is now another player that we have available to pick rather than just a body in training".
