BARNSLEY striker Iain Hume was a first half substitute as Canada slipped to a disappointing home defeat against Honduras on Saturday.

Iain was called into the action with 22 minutes on the clock but could not prevent his side slipping to a 2-1 defeat in Montreal. Iain was substituted on 85 minutes as the Canadians shuffled their pack following Patrice Bernier's dismissal.

Canada now face a tough trip to Mexico on September 10.
