DEADLINE DAY: SHACKELL SET TO JOIN WOLVES
THE first big bit of business on deadline day in the Championship has seen Norwich defender Jason Shackell moving to Wolves.
From www.canaries.co.uk:
CITY defender Jason Shackell is on the verge of signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee, subject to passing a medical.
24-year-old Shackell, a product of the Norwich youth Academy, made his City debut against Derby in April 2003. He went on to make 131 appearances for the Canaries, scoring twice.
The central defender was given the captain's armband during Peter Grant's spell as Norwich manager.
Wolves expect to finalise the deal subject to Jason passing the final part of his medical this afternoon.
