STEVE Bruce is tipped to send a very strong Wigan side to Oakwell for tonight's clash with Barnsley although new signings Amr Zaki and Lee Cattermole look set to miss out.

Cattermole switch from Middlesbrough is expected to be completed on Tuesday but the midfielder is not set to feature at Oakwell. Egyptian striker Zaki is still waiting for international clearance.

New signings Oliver Kapo, Daniel de Ridder and Maynor Figueroa should play at some point at Oakwell tonight. Kevin Kilbane has a slight knock and is unlikely to be risked for the game. Antoine Sibierski or Henry Camara could partner Emile Heskey in attack.
