COLGAN GETS PREMIER LEAGUE CHANCE

FORMER Barnsley keeper Nick Colgan has today been handed a shot at the Premier League after signing a one-year deal with Sunderland.

The 34-year-old left Ipswich Town at the end of last season and had been on trial at Bradford City. He will provide cover for Craig Gordon at the Stadium of Light.
