ANDERSON ON THE RIGHT PATH FOR RETURN
BRAZILIAN midfielder Anderson de Silva is stepping up his rehab work at Oakwell after battling back from cruciate ligament surgery earlier this year.
Anderson has been out of action since February 2008 following a horrific knee injury but is now back at the Club and working hard on his fitness.
Reds physio Matt Konopinksi told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "Anderson is doing very well and is right where he should be at this moment in time. He is doing some running work on the training pitch every day and has also started some dribbling drills with the ball.
"He is also working hard in the gym to build up his strength and balance. He is right on course for a return later this summer but we are not working to a definite timeframe at the moment to give him every chance to make the quickest recovery".
