REDS star Kayode Odejayi dropped by a local primary school this afternoon to present youngsters with a very special prize.

The Nigerian international striker visited Silkstone Primary School in Barnsley as part of their grand opening following a major refurbishment project. Kayode also presented the school with two bags of kit given to him as part of his prize for winning the FA Cup Player Of The Round award.

Headteacher Simon Barber told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "We are delighted that Kayode has come here this afternoon and the kids are very, very excited about having him with us. He will spend the afternoon meeting our children in their classes as well as attending a very special assembly.

"We have just completed a major project here at Silkstone Primary School which has seen us improve the facilites for our 210 children. We have new classrooms, a new computer suite and more spaces to learn and teach".
