BARNSLEY striker Michael Coulson is facing seven months of rehab work after undergoing a successful knee operation last week.

Speaking to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Oakwell physio Matt Konopinski said: "Michael had an operation to repair a torn cruciate ligament last week. He has recovered well from the surgery and is back walking around.

"He now has between seven and nine months of rehab work before he is fit to play. We are looking at having him back in early 2009".
