BARNSLEY youngster Simon Helsop is back at Oakwell after his loan spell with Halifax Town ended last weekend.

Simon made 33 appearances for the Shaymen, netting five goals.

A seasoned performer at Conference level, Simon has made 93 appearances during spells with Kidderminster, Tamworth, Northwich and Halifax. He has made a solitary first team appearance for the Reds.
