REDS youngster Michael Coulson is determined to be back better than ever after his horror injury earlier this week.

Speaking exclusively to Reds' Head of Media Rob Knowles for www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Michael said: "I am absolutely gutted but I will be back. I have to keep positive and will work as hard as ever to make sure I am back in the team an even better player than before.

"It was nothing really and I just twisted. I only went to block the ball - there was no-one near me and I was not in a tackle or anything. It really was just a freak accident and it means I will be out for seven or eight months. I am devastated.

"I have to look at the positives. This is a massive set back but I am determined to be back in a Barnsley shirt this year and back even better than before".
