BARNSLEY'S reserves were hit for four as Leeds United ran riot at Elland Road.

The Reds were forced to hang on in the opening exchanges as Leon Constantine, Nathan Cartman, and Chris Ovington all went close to opening the socring.

United finally went in front on 42 minutes when Ovington hammered the ball home from just about on the goal line after the Reds had failed to deal with Seb Sorsa's flick on from Fabian Delph's corner.

Leeds went further in front on 48 minutes when Ollie Hotchkiss hit the back of the net before Reds youngster Luke Waterfall managed to pull one back with a looping header.

Ovington added a third before Sorsa netted Leeds' fourth goal with five minutes remaining.
