BARNSLEY'S crashed to a heavy defeat at York City last night as young Minsterman striker Adam Boyes bagged a hat trick.

Onome Sodje, who impressed at Oakwell earlier this season opened the scoring on 12 minutes with a tap in.

The second came on 56 minutes when Boyes grabbed his first of the evening with a head. Boyes bagged his second 13 minutes later before completing his hat trick two minutes from time.

Substitute Michael Emmerson added a fifth in stoppage time.
