HE was the man who masterminded Barnsley Football Club's greatest ever success and Danny Wilson believes the Reds exploits have made everybody believe in the magic of the FA Cup again.

Speaking exclusively to Reds Head of Media Rob Knowles for www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Danny said: "It is absolutely fantastic and a great achievement for the Club. It is not just about the Semi Final - it is all about how they got there and the route they had. Barnsley have been very, very impressive in the FA Cup this season and thoroughly deserve it.

"There was no luck about it and it is terrific for everybody

"It has made the FA Cup for everybody this season and people can start believing again that they can do it as well. It is not just about the top six teams winning everything. The FA Cup is about hopes and dreams and not just about the top six teams.

"It is a big occasion for the fans, for the club and for the players. They have to chance to go to the new national stadium for the first time and it will be a full house. They have a great chance of getting to the final.

"It is terrific and very, very exciting for everybody. I will be watching and hoping they can go that extra step".

Danny took over the reigns at Oakwell as player-manager in 1994. His reign saw the Reds reach the dizzy heights of the Premier League on 1997 as well as memorable cup victories against Tottenham and Manchester United 12-months later.
