FORMER Reds full back and Barnsley nut Paul Heckingbottom is backing Simon Davey's side to raise their game again and book a FA Cup Final place this Sunday.

Speaking exclusively to Reds Head of Media Rob Knowles for www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Paul said: "It's unbelievable isn't it? Having said that it is still a case of so near yet so far and it will be heartbreaking if we do not get to the final after this.

"Going to Wembley has got the whole town absolutely buzzing and it will be a great day but we do not want to be on the losing side.

"To be fair we deserve to win the FA Cup after beating Liverpool and Chelsea. We have had the tough run but we also know that anything can happen on the day.

"We are still the underdogs out of the last four teams but we have raised our game when we have needed to this season and that is why we are in the Semi Final.

"I will not be at Wembley this weekend but I will be there in spirit to roar the boys on. My wife is expecting our second daughter any day now so I have had to miss out on the day at Wembley. I will hopefully be there for the final though with a little bit of luck".
