REDS Wembley star Craig Hignett believes there is no reason why Barnsley cannot go all the way and lift the FA Cup.

Speaking exclusively to Reds Head of Media Rob Knowles for www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Craig said: "It is absolutely fantastic isn't it? What's more Barnsley totally deserve to be there after the way they played against Chelsea. They were really impressive that day and it is great for the club, supporters and town.

"To have beaten Liverpool and Chelsea in one season is a magnificent achievement and they thoroughly deserve to be in the spotlight. There will be more people watching this weekend's game than the last time we went to Wembley, even though the prize was greater.

"To have 33,000 Barnsley fans at Wembley just shows how much the cup run has gripped the town. I struggled to get a ticket for the game myself but I will be at Wembley although I have split loyalties because I have a lot of friends at Cardiff as well. I know Paul Wilkinson and Dave Jones well so it will be strange for me.

"It is brilliant for the FA Cup to have Barnsley and Cardiff in the Semi Final. It has made the season.

"It has really made the season come alive and all four teams will fancy their chances of lifting the cup. Portsmouth will be kicking themselves if they do not win it but anything can happen.

"There is no reason why Barnsley cannot make history and win the FA Cup".
