IT was keenly fought but in the end the Reds has to settle for a point from last night's reserve team clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Neither side could really find a foothold in the game until Sheffield Wednesday snatched the lead on 25 minutes. Deon Burton rose highest in the area to meet David McClements' corner and planted a firm header past Kyle Letheren and into the back of the net.
Barnsley grabbed the equalizer just after the hour mark when Rohan Ricketts did well to send Michael Coulson through down the left and the young striker showed a cool head to beat Rob Burch.
