BARNSLEY'S Academy side missed out on glory at the Shrewsbury International Tournament after losing on penalties in the final against Mexican side La Cruz.
The game finished 1-1 after extra time, with Luke Fedorenko on target for Ronnie Branson's side.
The Reds lost 5-4 on penalties after missing their final spot kick.
