REDS DELIGHT AS PERRYS EXTEND SPONSORSHIP AT OAKWELL
BARNSLEY Football Club is delighted to announce that Club Sponsor Perrys Motor Sales has extended its commitment to Oakwell by taking over as Disabled Stand title-sponsor from the start of the 2008/2009 season.
The significant deal sees the award winning car retailer, located at Barugh Green, strengthen its links with Barnsley FC, after kicking off the 2005/2006 season as one of the Club's main sponsors, which sees its company logo appear on the rear of the Reds shirts.
Perrys will sponsor the Disabled Stand at Oakwell Stadium for the next two years, which will ensure that the Reds' disabled fans can easily access the facilities at the Football Club.
Commenting on the deal, Barnsley FC General Manager, Don Rowing said: "We are delighted that Perrys has further strengthened its ties with the Club by taking over as Disabled Stand Sponsors from this summer.
"This is another major deal for us, which shows how working closely with the Club can benefit companies and residents in the local area. We want to unite the community and local businesses behind this Club and demonstrate that this town is stronger together".
Alan Greenwood, General Manager of Perrys Barnsley, added: "We are overjoyed be expanding our relationship with the football club. This sponsorship reinforces our continuing commitment to the Barnsley community ensuing more people can continue to enjoy watching the boys in red play."
