Jacob Butterfield has scooped the Young Player of the Year Award for 2011/12 despite suffering a season-ending injury in January.

So remarkable was the 21-year-old's start to the campaign, he was rewarded with the captain's armband and a call-up to the England Under 21s after hitting five goals for the Tykes - including two scintillating efforts against Birmingham and Peterborough.

Check this Saturday's special edition of the Reds for all the reaction from tonight's End of Season Awards Ceremony or watch the interviews on Barnsley Player tonight.
