Reds Manager Danny Wilson has told barnsleyfc.co.uk he is hopeful more signings will follow this week after winger Ryan Williams joined the club.
Twenty-year-old Williams penned an initial one-month loan at Oakwell earlier today, and the Barnsley boss revealed the Fulham winger has been a target for quite some time.
“Ryan’s someone we’ve targeted for a long time,” said Wilson.
“He gives us some extra quality in wide areas. We’re still trying to bring a couple more in and we might get a bit of luck soon.

“We feel he is very much somebody who will enhance the squad and add more competition for places.
“His skills vary in terms of working in the supply line. He can run the ball well and is quick, he can also put the ball into the box well. He knows the other side of his game and is very conscientious of helping out defensively and positional-wise.”
