Striker signs up

Barnsley have completed the signing of striker Jason Scotland on a free transfer.

The 33-year-old has penned a deal at Oakwell for the remainder of the season.

A proven scorer at Championship level, Scotland has bagged goals for the likes of Swansea and Ipswich in the Championship after hitting the goal trail regularly north of the border with Dundee United and St. Johnstone.

"I'm looking forward to getting back to playing football," Jason told Barnsley Player. "Everyone is really positive here. I'm going to try and bring more goals to this team."

Watch out for the exclusive interview with Jason later today only on Barnsley Player.
