Barnsley Football Club has today captured the signings of Sam Winnall and Ross Turnbull after beating off competition from rival clubs.

Meanwhile goalkeeper Ross Turnbull, who enjoyed two loan stints with the Reds ten years ago, has signed as a free agent on a two-year contract.

New signings Sam Winnall and Ross Turnbull with Manager, Danny Wilson.

Reds Manager Danny Wilson was pleased to capture two more signings following the arrival of midfielder James Bailey yesterday.

"It's not just me that's been busy," Wilson told Barnsley Player. "We've all been busy. Signings are hard work, nowadays. We've been very patient.

"Sam gives us some great competition up the top now and maybe with another one to come in.

"We've got Ross who is a great signing for us. We knew we neeeded an experienced 'keeper. Adam Davies has done brilliant for us in pre-season and will have a great future here as well."
