The Reds welcome Middlesbrough to Oakwell tonight as both teams head into the final stages of pre-season preparations.
Aitor Karanka's side just missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season after a 2-0 defeat to Norwich in the Play Off Final at Wembley. Boro have strengthened their squad this summer with the additions of Alex Baptise, Stewart Downing, Tomas Kalas and Diego Fabrini. The full first team squad is expected to travel down for the game with a sizable following expected from Teeside.
Tonight’s friendly provides Reds fans with a great opportunity to get glimpse of the team as we gear up for our first game of the Sky Bet League One campaign against Chesterfield on Saturday 8th August!
