It is with great sadness that Barnsley Football Club has learned about the passing of 3-year-old Reds fan, Mitchell Owen Hepworth.
Mitchell, or ‘Titch’ as he was affectionately known by his friends and family, lived in Wombwell and tragically passed away earlier this month. Our thoughts are with Mitchell’s friends and family at this difficult time.
Season Pass Holder Mitchell was one of our own and he will be sorely missed by everyone here at Oakwell, a place where he would regularly attend matches with his Dad, family and friends.
His family will be attending our game against Fleetwood Town on Saturday and they have kindly asked for both home and away fans to join us in a minute’s applause on the 3rd minute of the game in remembrance of Mitchell.
