Speaking this morning, Reds Head Coach Lee Johnson said, "We're very pleased with this news.
"He's a big lad, quick enough and decent enough on the ball. He's enjoyed being here, we've enjoyed having him and we're delighted to be keeping him.
"He's quite a calming figure in an around the place and on the pitch. He's that type of player where you know what he's going to do. He's solid in his game and clears things that need to be cleared."
The 25-year-old will now remain at Oakwell until January 20th, 2016.
