Head Coach Lee Johnson gave his thoughts after suffering his first defeat since taking over as Reds boss.
"On the day we were poor and we deserved to lose. There is no glossing over the fact that we did not do enough today and individuals did not do enough. It is disappointing of course, we have been on a good run and everybody has whipped up into a frenzy, it was almost like a balloon that has just been popped.
"We've got a young group and they are a very inexperienced group. That was probably it today, we probably lacked that bit of savvy to go and make a real game of it, maybe if we had scored the first goal it might have been different but I have to be honest, we never really looked like we were going to do that today."
Looking forward to the trip to Colchester on Monday, Johnson said:
"We need to use that hurt as energy in the next game, if they do that we will go and they will put in a good performance against Colchester, or you can completely drop your head and give up. It will be interesting for me now to see exactly who can come with us and who can't.
"If you look at the big picture which is very difficult to do now because you are upset and angry but of course we have to turn this around really quickly due to the Easter period and having to go again on Monday."
