Reds Manager David Flitcroft told today's press conference that striker Marlon Harewood will leave the club when his contract expires next month.
The 33-year-old joined the Reds last summer and scored three goals in 37 appearances.
When addressing the press today, Flitcroft said of the striker, "I spoke to Marlon after the Huddersfield game about his future. He deserves to be the number one striker but we can't offer him that here."
Barnsley Football Club would like to thank Marlon for his passion and dedication whilst at the club and wish him the best of luck with his future.
