Dooley's Rallying Call

28 January 2013

Barnsley-born actor backs Reds

Barnsley-born actor Shaun Dooley has backed the club's decision to reduce ticket prices at Oakwell and has called on the town to support the Reds in their bid to climb up the league.

A lifelong Tyke, Shaun told barnsleyfc.co.uk, "For all the highs and lows supporting Barnsley F.C. brings, it never gets dull, in fact the highs always outweigh the lows. We're currently in a low in the league and a high in the F.A. cup and we need to come together and get behind the Reds. They need our support and we can make a difference by backing them at Oakwell. It's great that the club have reduced the prices to encourage people back through the gates because times aren't easy, for anyone at the moment. Oakwell can be a fortress once again with your support. Get behind them and help us get out of the current league blip we find ourselves in. I'm proud to be from Barnsley and proud to be a Barnsley F.C. supporter and season ticket holder."

Tickets are now available from just £20 for adults after a one-off membership fee of just £3, which entitles adult members to a £3 discount on every home league match. The Reds face Millwall tomorrow at Oakwell for a 7:45pm kick-off.
