Brownhill Extends Stay to End of Season

1 February 2016

Barnsley Football Club is delighted to announce midfielder Josh Brownhill has extended his loan stay at Oakwell until the end of the season from Preston North End.

The 20-year-old has played a key role in the Reds' last four games, where Lee Johnson's side have picked up 12 points and three clean sheets.

"I'm really pleased to extend my stay," Josh told barnsleyfc.co.uk.

"They're a great bunch of lads here. We've got some real momentum and are on a great run.

"We're taking each game at a time but I'm excited about what we can achieve here with some big games coming up.

"This is a great Club and I'm thankful to the gaffer here for putting his faith in me and trusting me in the games I've played so far."
