Marc Roberts Puts His Wembley Boots Up For Auction!

17 May 2017

The Reds skipper will donate all proceeds to Angus MacDonald’s bike ride for Epilepsy UK.

Reds Captain Marc Roberts has signed his boots from both Wembley finals during the 2015/16 season which saw Barnsley win the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and the Sky Bet League One play-offs.

The towering central defender has continually supported his defensive colleague Angus MacDonald with his fundraising mission for Epilepsy Research UK, as he aims to cycle from Paris to London in June.

Due to injury, Roberts couldn’t play against Burton Albion at Oakwell at the end of the 2016/17 campaign, so instead he took to the streets to help the fundraising by being involved with a bucket collection.

His next generous donation now is to auction off a piece of his playing history in support of his teammate.
