Reds central defender joins 'The Iron' on loan.
Cowgill has today joined the National League side on a one-month youth-loan deal.Braintree reached the Play-Offs last season, narrowly missing out on a trip to Wembley following defeat to Grimsby Town over two legs.
Cowgill has come through different youth levels of the Reds Academy and will now be looking to get some vital first team football. During the 2016/17 pre-season, Jack was a member of the first team squad on multiple occasions, featuring heavily. He scored his first goal for the senior team away at Stalybridge in a 2-0 victory.
He will go straight into the squad for The Iron's upcoming National League fixtures.
