Reds Manager Danny Wilson met with the press ahead of his side’s long trip to Yeovil Town on Saturday.
With almost a full complement of players, the Barnsley boss is hopeful of stretching his side’s unbeaten run to four at Huish Park.
“There's only James Bailey who is going to have to rest this hamstring injury,” said Wilson. “He might sit out the next two.
“Because of the Doncaster game being called off we have time to rest up on one or two niggles.
“Ross (Turnbull) is not fighting fit but he's a lot better than he was. I'm hoping this break will be beneficial to him. Hopefully he can make sure his back is 100% by the time MK Dons comes around.
“In one area it's always good to get the rest but if you've got a good win behind you, you want the next game to come quickly.”
Yeovil’s Huish Park was the setting for a 4-1 Barnsley victory last season, and a repeat performance and result would do just nicely for the Reds.
“The 90 minutes was very tough down there,” added Wilson. “We both had a lot to play for and it's the same this time around. Teams put together by Gary (Johnson) are always tough to play against. We're playing at a very tight and intimidating ground.
“We got the breakthrough and a nice result (last season). It wasn't given to us. We had to work for it.
“We've got a difference on the bench this year. We've got a different dynamic and have a bit of diversity.
“They've got a team to put together and Gary will admit that it'll take a bit of time to put into sync.
“It's always a hard place to go and play there. What we will have is a good following behind us.
“At this stage it's more about what we're doing. We know that the determination Gary will have in his team will be great.
“Yeovil and Barnsley will throw up a very tough game and it always does.”
With the transfer window looming – 11pm on Monday 1st September – Wilson is still on the lookout for the perfect players to polish off his squad.
“We've got loans and bids out there,” said Wilson.
“I had a nice conversation with Steve Bruce and he's open to letting Joe Dudgeon stay.
“Hopefully it'll be done and dusted after the weekend.
“This year we highlighted the areas where we needed goals from and from which players. You want that threat in your team and when we go to Yeovil we will have a squad full of that threat.
“Preparation's very similar but just on a different venue. Obviously we have to travel overnight. It won't change a great deal with how we want to play with the information we have on Yeovil we'll try and negate their strengths."
