Paul Heckingbottom’s side will travel to face The Posh in their final fixture of pre-season.
After playing so well against Premier League Hull City on Tuesday night and narrowly missing out on the win with a couple of minutes remaining, the Reds have had an excellent pre-season so far.
This will be the last opportunity for players to state their claim for a position in the starting eleven, for when the Reds travel to Ipswich Town on the opening day of the 2016/17 Championship season.
